Key outcome
The insight
The second edition of a client event is a test of credibility: it has to confirm the service standard without tipping into formal overkill, proving that execution quality comes from a method, not from the novelty effect.
Our deliberate choices
- Refusing to reinvent the concept: we kept the restrained set design from the first edition to build a recognizable signature
- Optimizing flow instead of adding services: identifying and fixing the logistical friction points from 2022
- In-house staff only: no external subcontractors, to guarantee consistent service and full control over guest interactions
The challenge
The problem
JTC Luxembourg wanted to work with us for a second time as their event production agency for the asparagus festival. Their goal was to organize a memorable evening for their partners and clients.
- Avoiding a sense of repetition without overdoing the format
- Maintaining execution standards despite recurrence
- Building on feedback from 2022
- Managing rising logistical complexity
Our response
Building on our previous collaboration, we put together a full strategy for JTC Luxembourg's asparagus festival. Our team handled the set design, logistics, catering coordination and staff management to keep the event running smoothly. We worked closely with JTC Luxembourg to shape an engaging experience that put the asparagus center stage and gave their guests an evening to remember.
- Controlled replication of the setup validated in 2022
- Optimized guest welcome and service flows
- In-house catering and staff coordination
- Restrained set design with a recognizable signature
Strategic approach
Rather than chase novelty for its own sake, we ruled out formal overload. The event was built as a recurring relational touchpoint: each edition needed to confirm the JTC Luxembourg signature, not reinvent it. The core trade-off: prioritize consistency of execution and relational depth over the element of surprise.
Restrained set design
No visual break from one year to the next. The venue becomes recognizable, the signature takes hold. We kept the visual codes that worked in 2022 while refining the atmosphere details, so it wouldn't feel like a straight copy. Restraint isn't a compromise, it's a discipline that lets the asparagus stand out instead of getting lost in the decor.
Invisible logistics
Welcoming 150 to 200 guests within a tight evening window calls for precise coordination of arrivals, service and social moments. We built on feedback from the previous edition to smooth out the flow, cut waiting times and make sure every moment was enjoyed, not endured. The event ran without a visible hitch because every potential friction point had been anticipated.
In-house staff
Rather than outsourcing welcome and service, we brought in staff trained and briefed internally. This choice guaranteed a consistent tone, quick responses to the unexpected and full control over service quality. A premium event is defined by the quality of its interactions, not the number of outside vendors involved.
Coordinated catering
Asparagus is the star product, not a pretext. We coordinated closely with the caterer so every dish highlighted the produce without overstaging it. The consistency across set design, service and menu created a seamless experience where every detail reinforced JTC Luxembourg's premium positioning.
